As President of Dimeo Properties, Mr. Dimeo is responsible for all aspects of company operations, including management, accounting, finance, acquisitions and development. In 1993, Mr. Dimeo assumed his current position with the company and obtained the company's first management contract. He has since guided the company to a $5 million per year enterprise with property related services performed by the company's 80 staff members. Services include property management, asset management, and development for a wide variety of projects. including office buildings, condominium projects and approximately 1,000 subsidized apartment units located throughout Southern New England. Subsidy programs include federal programs such as, LIHTC, Section 8, Section 236, Section 221(d) 3 and state programs, such as, State Rental Subsidy and Youth Resident Activity Programs. Initially, the company's management services were performed exclusively for the Dimeo family real estate portfolio. In 1996, Mr. Dimeo bought Ryan Elliott Management Company, a third-party management firm serving commercial properties in Rhode Island and Massachusetts. Since then, the company continued to attract a reputation for timely financial reports and flexible, courteous staff. Before Dimeo Properties, Mr. Dimeo held various positions with Dimeo Construction in field engineering, estimating, construction management, and real estate development. Mr. Dimeo has also been a principal in several real estate developments including rehabs and new construction projects.
As the Senior Vice President, Chris is directly responsible for all aspects of the property management functions as they relate to the residential and commercial real estate portfolios. In 1999, Mr. Brady joined the Dimeo Companies in the position of Commercial Property Manager. He assumed his current position in 2008. Mr. Brady is responsible for the management of approximately 900+ units of subsidized and conventional housing, and 300,000+ square feet of class A commercial space. The present management portfolios are located in Rhode Island, eastern and western Massachusetts and Connecticut. The residential properties are comprised of market, condominium, federally assisted Section 8, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit developments for families and the elderly. The Department of Housing and Urban Development, Massachusetts Housing Finance Agency, Rhode Island Housing & Mortgage Finance Corporation and Connecticut Housing Finance Authority administer these programs. Duties include budget preparation and monitoring, regulatory compliance, development and implementing preventative maintenance and marketing programs. Chris is responsible for the supervision and training of a staff of 24. Chris has taken a lead role in the tax credit redevelopments of 364 units totaling $54 million, and refinancings totaling $20 million. Prior to his affiliation with Dimeo, Mr. Brady managed and leased a diverse group of commercial properties including high-rise office, mixed use, single store flex/tech and warehouse. Mr. Brady worked with institutional property owners including TIAA/CREF and Travelers and served a number of high-profile corporate tenants including McDonalds, Motorola, Westinghouse, AT&T, Travelers and Northwestern Mutual Life. Before joining Dimeo Mr. Brady worked with leading property management firms including The John Buck Company and Trammell Crow in the Chicago and Boston areas.
As the Human Resources Administrator Terri oversees all facets of the HR Department, which include the implementation and maintenance of payroll and all related aspects, employee benefits and insurances, new hire and termination coordination. In consultation with management she also oversees and maintains the professional liability, auto, commercial and residential building insurances. Terri joined Dimeo Properties, Inc. as the Human Resources Administrator in 2005. Prior to her employment at Dimeo Properties she worked as the HR/Office Manager for the international semiconductor company EV Group. While there she was responsible for administration of the U.S. based Human Resources Department as well as all company property, insurances and travel on the East Coast. Before her tenure at EV Group Terri developed her skills working as a retail store manager.
As the Director of Property Management, Mr. Lussier oversees all aspects of the property management functions as they relate to residential and commercial properties in the Dimeo Properties real estate portfolio. The portfolio consists of properties throughout Southern New England and represents different ownership groups, including individual investors, partnerships, an executive board and facilities management for a nonprofit organization. Duties include creating annual budgets and monitoring, regulatory compliance, developing and implementing preventative maintenance and marketing programs. Alan also assists with the coordination of capital improvement projects, including fire alarm systems, energy efficiency lighting retrofits and HVAC repairs. Before Alan joined Dimeo Properties in 2008 as a Commercial Property Manager he worked as a Senior Field Examiner, for Bouget and Associates, testing and analyzing financial data in order to provide written analysis of borrowers’ financial condition and ability to support debt. In addition, he provided value-added recommendations for companies to improve their operations, financial reporting, insurance and payroll needs as well as budget forecasting capabilities. Alan started in the management field in the early 1990s in the Rhode Island Housing/HUD residential housing industry. His assignments were various Section 8, assisted living facilities throughout the Woloohojian Realty portfolio where he rose from an Assistant Property Manager to a Regional Property Manager of over 500 units incorporating three complexes.
As the Vice President and Controller for Dimeo Properties, Wendy is responsible for financial statements of over thirty companies, including state agencies and HUD reporting. Ms. Vaughn joined Dimeo properties in 1994 and manages an accounting staff of three and works with the Human Resource Department. She maintains over 40 bank accounts and works with auditors at year-end for all properties. Wendy has over thirty years of diverse experience in the accounting field as a full-charge bookkeeper, accounting supervisor, payroll, human resources and controller.
As the Accounting Supervisor, Heather overseas the accounting portion of the Residential Properties that Dimeo Properties Manages and prepares all monthly financials statements for those properties. She also works closely with the Property Managers to assist with any issues that arise regarding the tenants related to rent payments. Heather joined Dimeo Properties in 2014. Before joining Dimeo Properties, she worked for Ontex International of Belgium and Rostam Ltd of Israel. At both companies, she was the US Office/Accounting Manager and also part of both companies’ implementation teams to grow and expand their company’s products into the US market.
As Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Malinda´s Account Payable role is a set up vendors, verify invoices/purchase orders and vendor insurance. She prepares weekly check runs for all Residential managed properties. Malinda´s Accounts Receivable role is posting rent payments, HAP/HUD payments, collections, and payroll/management fee billing. Other responsibilities include assisting the controller in researching discrepancies, running monthly and yearly reports, 1099´s, deposits, and other duties as needed.
Malinda joined Dimeo Properties, Inc, in 2016. Malinda´s prior experience she was employed by Marinosci Law Group, PC a Real Estate Default Law firm as a Billing Coordinator for Bankruptcy and Litigation, and Account Payable.
Malinda enjoys music, dancing, playing the guitar, kayaking, fishing and family.
